Burnout is Agent Smith of the corporate world

It's a relentless, multiplying shadow that's hard to get rid of.

What if you could dodge it like Neo dodges bullets?

Pausing to think is your secret weapon. Forget the stereotype of sitting in the lotus and chanting mantras; all it takes is 2 to 5 minutes to:
1. take your eyes off your screen, look out of the window without focusing on anything in particular, or go to the toilet so as not to be disturbed
2. become aware of your breathing as it is
3. breathe out a little longer for three exhalations
4. focus your attention on the heart area
5. recall a moment of joy and love with loved ones
6. accept the thoughts that come to you without becoming attached to them, and return to the heart and this feeling of joy and love.

When you connect with what you're feeling in the present moment, you're not dwelling on past mistakes or planning future blunders; you're here, now. This presence allows you to commit fully to your tasks, reducing the risk of exhaustion. It's like having a built-in firewall against the stressors that lead to emotional and physical exhaustion.

It's a simple practice... you just have to do it. If, like many people, you find it hard to make yourself a priority, join us:
