If you give the wrong information to the right people, they will make the wrong decisions and become self-destructive.

The German term ‘Weltanschauung’, meaning world view, is a good illustration of what we call a paradigm, i.e. a way of perceiving the world based on the information we retain and use to understand it. These mental constructs shape the way we look at life. They condition our interpretation by seeking to confirm what we know, while obscuring what we don't know.

Overwhelmed by the daily influx of information and stimulated by the need for instant gratification, we increasingly lose the wisdom and common sense necessary for discernment. Discernment is the ability to recognise what lifts us up and leads us to serenity and unconditional love.

What can we do about it?

There are two options open to us:

- Reduce the amount of information by retreating into the silence of nature.

- Look for three distinct sources of information: one providing a rational response, another an opposite response, and the third a humorous response...

Both approaches require you to slow down... are you ready?
