And that's a good thing!
No, I'm not a masochist. Humanity has to evolve, and the arrival of robots will force us to do so. However, this transformation risks amplifying social inequalities and intensifying the pressure on our mental health.
In countries where labour costs are high, a large proportion of manual jobs will be replaced, leading to a risk of idleness and decline. Only the development of activities linked to art, ethics, sport, spirituality, research, innovation and collaboration can strengthen our connection with nature and guarantee sustainability and peace.
The search for meaning, the integrity of our behaviour with our moral values, and the practice of silence, gratitude, forgiveness and compassion will be our doors to salvation. But they require discipline, emotional intelligence and an awakened conscience.
If, on the other hand, we allow ourselves to be trapped by a weak ego, thirsting for immediate gratification, appearances and judgements, we will open other doors. Robots will become instruments of power, and the gaps between those who possess these technologies and those who have none will widen to abysses. Wars, viruses and other curses will grow, and desperate extremists may well hasten the end of our presence on this planet.
Do it now. And if necessary, ask for help. It's too important to wait!
It's time to wake up. Let's find the answers to these fundamental questions and encourage everyone to do the same:
- Who are you really? Are you the one who thinks or the one who knows?
- Why are you here on earth? What is your reason for being? What are your gifts?
- How do you want to live? What are your values?
- What prevents you from being the best version of yourself? What are your limiting beliefs? Your emotional wounds?
- What are you doing to live in accordance with your answers?
Do it now. And if necessary, ask for help. It's too important to wait!
