Fortunately, we're not like those Hollywood westerns where behind the facade is a desert. In reality, behind each of our masks and finery lies a veritable paradise, full of unsuspected emotions, experiences and treasures.
Yet in a society in search of security, leaders are expected to be strong and conquering. They must wear armour that conceals their doubts, their vulnerability and their humanity.
For a long time, I struggled to find the balance between being better and being good, between material success and relational fulfilment, between efficiency and humanity.
Today, after having fought economic, relational and personal battles, I've realised that the most rewarding path is the one that leads from our head to our heart. It's this path that allows us to meet each other, to love each other, to rust our armour and release our light.
This sincere and uncompromising introspection allows us to :
- free ourselves from our limiting beliefs ;
- transform our emotional wounds into superpowers;
- express our truth with assertiveness and kindness;
- let go of our need for control and our attachment to material possessions and rigid ideas;
- invite deep forgiveness, the forgiveness we owe ourselves, so that we can finally let go of the masks and reveal the best version of ourselves;
- being, rather than appearing!
Would you like to follow this path too?
