I try to get my point of view across, convinced that I have the ideal solution, but whether it's with a colleague or with my son, I get the impression that they don't understand me. They say ‘yes, yes’ but I can see that nothing changes in their behaviour, which ends up making me angry.
So I let them get on with it, but I watch for every little mistake to prove to them just how right my reasoning was. But nothing happens...
How can I expect them to change when they don't seem to want to?
And then, when I take a moment to reflect and meditate on this situation, I realise one thing: THE DONKEY IS ME!
How many times have you found yourself in this same situation?
What was your solution?
Is it so difficult to let go and trust, especially when you care about the people you want to help?
