I destroyed a meteorite

Six months...

It took me just 180 days to free myself from the cancerous cells that were invading my bladder. Today, everyone is relieved, including me.

Some people think I've beaten the ‘crab’ or destroyed a meteorite. Others, who like me have freed themselves from cells that had become pathogenic, share my journey.

As with any unpleasant experience we encounter along the way, our first reaction is to reject it, fight it or ignore it. Unfortunately, these three strategies only amplify the harm.

Instead, we need to welcome it and listen to the message from these living parts of our being. These cells called me to order. For years I'd been saying I was going to look after my physical body, but in reality I was doing nothing. My body manifested itself so that I could finally take action.

So I went into communication with these cells. First of all, I thanked them for giving me this crucial information. Then I let them know that I had understood the message and that I had taken action. I had the diseased cells removed, then injected bacteria to stimulate my immune system. Then I fasted, moved, breathed, meditated, slept and trusted my body.

I always saw this experience as a gift and never doubted that I would grow from it.

Today, with the ordeal over much more quickly than expected, I'm convinced that the state of mind is just as, if not more, important than the surgery and medical treatments. It all starts on the inside. External help is important, but it's only effective if the internal terrain is ready.

Self-leadership precedes leadership of others. That's why authenticity and exemplarity are the first ingredients of a conscious leader.
